Chris Hauck is a lifelong Sacramento Kings fan, whose constant disappointment and years of following a multitude of lottery selections led him to dive deeper and deeper into the the draft process. Chris started producing projection models and write ups for the draft, he published on Sactown Royalty and then the Kings Herald starting in 2013. Over the years, he has expanded the depth and accuracy of his models and added more traditional in-person scouting and film analysis. Starting in 2020, Chris has offered free in-depth draft guides with models, data, film reviews, and more. This was the genesis for this site, which aims to pull together the great work of many NBA Draft experts to better understand the draft and help others looking for more information. Chris was born and raised in Sacramento California. He attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
