Meet James Oxford: James started prospect scouting in 2016 when he released his first draft guide. He continued posting yearly draft guides, and in 2018 teamed with 3 other basketball minds to publish a more robust guide that gained national acclaim.. James has been coaching since 2018, including a varsity head coaching job and the current Head Coaching position at an intermediate school. James was mentored by Dean Oliver through Sport Management World Wide. His skillset includes video editing, data visualization, and understanding of context as it applies to prospect scouting.
